With the continuous development of the new curriculum reform,generative teaching has become an important teaching philosophy advocatedby the new course and recognized by the majority of teachers. Generativeteaching is a kind of teaching form within the field of vision of generativethinking. It is a teaching philosophy which deeply concerning for humanbeings, opposing to cure the default of teachers, promoting flexibleinstructional design and teaching process of dynamically generated. Basedon the connotation and features of generative teaching, this article analysisand explains the necessity of generative teaching in moral education from theaspects of educational objectives, subject requirements, and developmentneeds of students, etc. Combined with the corresponding teaching practice,the specific implementation of generative teaching in Ideological and moraleducation are analyzed and studied in detail. It also reflects and analysis theexisting problems in the process of generative teaching.Through the theory and practice of two years of study and research,researchers believe that proposing Generative teaching in the ideological andethical education is based on the science and practice in fully, which isfeasible n the teaching practice meanwhile.The Study and practice show that,the generative teaching can make the classroom atmosphere active andenhance the consciousness of students to participate in classroom teaching,which promotes the studentsˊdevelopment. At the same time, it can improvethe teachersˊawareness of curriculum resource and enhance the teachingeffectiveness of Ideological and moral Course.
