In the new ear of different culture impact and culture integration, mystudy is how to keep onself,how to educate people with excellenttraditional Chinese culture, how to strengthen high school students’awareness of cultural security and how to improve the teaching ofideology and politics. On the part of culture life in second year of seniorhigh school, this study is aim at developing teaching methods on highschool students’ learning traditional culture. According to the newproblems of high school students’ thought characteristics, as anideological education worker, we should change our education idea toadapt to the requirements of the times; give students traditional cultureeducation by means of ideological and political teaching, and guide themto form the healthily ideological and ethical idea. The study can bedivides into three parts.The first part elaborates the importance and necessity of high schoolstudents’ learning traditional culture. Traditional culture is to broadenstudents’ cultural horizons and give them an educational guidance of theirideal,morality,emotion and cultural equality.Besides,learning traditionalculture is a kind of inherited, traceable and developing education. Tostrengthen traditional culture education in high school contains manybenefits, such as:it’s helpful for cultivating high school students’responsbility,promoting their development in all aspects,strenghen theircommon since of national culture, inheriting Chinese virtues andstrengthening teenagers’ awareness of cultural security. Though ourpresent education system is successful in some gruesome problems inteaching traditional culture if high school still exists, like attaching lessimportance to traditional culture and not being wide in contentrange.Therefore,it is necessary for us to strengthen the teaching of traditional culture in high school.The second part studies the main expression and cause of highschool students’ lacking of learning traditional culture. Based on thequestionnaire investigation about traditional culture to high schoolstudents, the survey shows that most of students are lack with traditionalculture, even some of whom don’t know the origin of some traditionalfestivals. The reason for it is high school students give excessive attentionto new things from network and schools don’t strengthen traditionalculture education to a further degree.The third part discusses the ways and methods of learning traditionalculture in senior high school ideology and politics lesson. They mainlyrefer to make full use of class teaching with traditional culture education.The model of cultural life is added to the New Senior Ideology andPolitics for China Students Book3, with which teachers and studentscould explore the excellent traditional culture together, making studentsenjoy the broad and profound of Chinese culture and its long standing. Sowe can strengthen their traditional culture education with the contentsmentioned above. The specific implementation steps are below: firstly,take an overall view of the whole contents and then narrateseparately;secondly,start with traditional culture elements students areinterested in,from the shallow to the deep; with research layer uponlayer,teacher introduces the representative traditional culture; organizestudents to make extracurricular discovery and then exchange theirfindings; pay attention to the infiltration of different subjects. Fromtraditional custom, traditional buildings,tradional art to rationalthoughts,tradional culture is guided to get close to students by the basicstructure of the text, from the shallow to deep to enjoy traditional culture.In addition, exploring and studying the representative traditional culture,like harp, chess, calligraphy and painting, is also a good way tostrengthen traditional culture education, for there is rich cultural heritagebehind this representative traditional culture. What’s more, a variety of campus activity should be held, such asconducting “Reading Festival” activity related to the traditional cultureeducation and launching students’ activities to dig out more resources oftraditional culture education, with which family, school and society canbe integrated to promote high school students’ accepting traditionalculture education conscientiously.
