A long time, the mathematical abilities of students were concerned by mathematics educators, abut the mathematical ability, many mathematicians and mathematics educators have different answers. The most influential famous psychologists is Professor Krutetskii of the former Soviet Union (BaдиMAHдpeeBич кpyTeцкий, Dec,1917-Sep,1991), he is also one of the pioneers in the Psychology of Mathematics Education research. He proceeding from the general ability to study math ability, convincingly found part describes the mathematical ability.This paper is divided into five chapters, as follows:1. Introduction. Elaborated topics of purpose, meaning, the status of research, research methods, and innovations such as some of the basic ideas.2. Professor Krutetskii’s Life and Introduction.3. The basic theory of mathematics education thinking Professor Krutetskii. This chapter introduces his theory, which is constituted by four parts contents, ability to view, the concept of mathematical ability, the structure and composition of mathematical ability and of mathematical genius child characteristics, and accompanied by other scholars and teaching experiment, combing their theoretical context.4. The application of Professor Krutetskii mathematics education thinking. This chapter focuses on research in information collection, information processing, information to maintain and mathematical quality of students each active stage of practical application in the teaching of mathematics, in order to achieve the practical significance of the guidance mathematics teaching.5. Conclusion. This chapter is the some revelation by study and raised the issues that need to be addressed in future reasearch.
