Situational teaching method ", is a way of teaching in high schoolnew curriculum prevalent since" implementation, it in the middle schoollanguage, mathematics, physics, chemistry, especially plays a more andmore important role in middle school English teaching. The innovation ofthis article is the situation and high geography teaching, specificphenomena analysis in geography teaching and situation teaching related,has enumerated the teaching case of also has a preliminary discussion onteaching theory.Through questionnaires, object to a high geography teacher,questionnaire show that, the vast majority of teachers have positiveattitude to the situational teaching, and nearly half of the teachers designthe situational awareness in teaching. Most teachers think students in theinterest of situational teaching. For the implementation of geographicalsituational teaching actual effect, most teachers think that enhances thegeography learning interest and motivation of students, improve students’geographical thinking ability, promote the knowledge transfer. Data showthat the geographical situational teaching to enhance students’ learninginterest in geography, improve students’ geographical thinking to promoteknowledge transfer, to cultivate students’ scientific literacy and expandthe students knowledge and have better effect.The presence of high geography classroom teaching situationincluding the implementation of the situational teaching of geographyteachers material is confined to the geography textbooks, the lack ofstudents personally experience, poor teaching conditions. Four principles of high geography classroom situational includingaccords with the physiological and psychological characteristics ofstudents, the principle of authenticity, close to the life principle, moderatedifficulty principle; high geography classroom six situation types forproblem situations, multimedia situation, activity situation, life situation,pictures and information context, physical context.High geography classroom situation creation steps for theinterpretation of curriculum standards, the situation clear teachingobjectives, teaching application and function (the creation of context todetermine the problemâ†'student activities design), nodule.Should pay attention to high geography classroom situations whenthe issues including the situation teaching through classroom, to avoidhaving a beginning but no end; situational teaching pay attention to actualeffect, do not form than content; situational design to the studentindividual difference concerns.
