Recently, the development of high-standard basketball revolution are boosting in a fastspeed,especially the appearance of Chinese University Basketball Association in1998,whichexerts positive impacts on promoting the construction of campus culture,enriching universitystudents’ leisure time and improving their well rounded qualities.Based on the fundament ofteam members’ information athlete sources,training methodology,competitions sportexperience and coaches’ condition age,treatment,coaching experience and so on, the paperfocus on two factors in women’s basketball—management and financial sources,whichadopts diversity statistic methodologies including documents,expert interviews, uestionnaires,experiments, statistics and analysis.Research results reflecting the current situations andproblems of the women’s basketball team in Shaanxi province in a certain degree all providedeveloping directions and scientific theories for sustainable development.Research conclusion:1. Chinese University Basketball Association starts relatively early and shows an constantupward trend. However, the number of teams that could link to sound training conditions isfairly limited, the majority of institutions fail to provide ideal training situations to members.Moreover, most of the female basketball players are college students with poor physicalqualities, low competitive level, limited training periods, few match experiences andinstability in development.2. All coaches are PE teachers who are usually in their thirties from universities and perform apart-time job. In total, they have practical teaching experience in a certain measure whilepartial coaches’ teaching ages are not long enough. Most coaches with proper professionalstructures and solid theoretical foundation, but they lack professional sports experience andthe title structure and education level are both quite low, meanwhile, the opportunities ofgoing out to participate in training and learning are limited, moreover, the overall businesslevel is not high.3. The members in women’s basketball are all college students who have huge interests inbasketball and high enthusiasm for training. However, the body conditions are not goodenough, and technology and tactics are both in low level. The conflicts between learning andtraining are significant, as a result, training time is fairly limited. The number of teams thatcan attend system training constantly is less, which to some extent, restricts overallenhancement of teams.4. Women’ basketball teams in undergraduate institutions of Shaanxi province have limitedfinancial resource for training and competition and their financial source is a bit simply,meanwhile, they lack reasonable stimulating system, scientific management system and proper motivation of coaches and players. The management of sports teams is relatively looseand lack necessary regulatory supervise measures.5. Schools should pay more attention to ensure the constant development of women’sbasketball on campus under the foundations of college students’ actual needs and wishes. Inorder to build a perfect team, potential members should be exploited. Training and learningtime should be arranged reasonable, and the pressure of the team member from trainingshould be alleviated effectively as well. The arrangement of training is a sound way to raisethe level of the coach business, and it is reliable to design scientific training method for team.And universities should be advised well to provide more investment funds and goodconditions for training and competition with teams, which could ensure the vital interests ofthe coaches and players.
