Abstract:In recent years, the Chinese university student basketball league CUBA rapidly across the country, the provinces have sprung up in university basketball team building, from CUBA league, the division series, the local nature of the country’s competition, as well as all kinds of game show teams at all levels in the province the trend of more and more, the scale is bigger and bigger. Basketball is widely spread in colleges and universities, especially in recent years the rapid development of the women’s basketball sports, the universities construction of high level basketball team put forward higher requirements. In yunnan province is located in the southwest frontiers and numerous ethnic minority, economic underdevelopment, a delay in women’s basketball sports in colleges, combined with the condition of transportation, information, recruit students, the respect such as hardware infrastructure condition is relatively backward, currently only yunnan normal university, yunnan university of finance and economics in kunming, two schools to recruit women high level players, although in recent years, the two teams in the national competition, but for all of the women’s basketball team in colleges and universities in the city, on the high level sports teams have ratio are few and far between.
