With the implementation of the new curriculum in high school mathematics, howto improve the teaching effectiveness and what can we do to enhance students’interest in learning is becoming an important topic in the mathematical curriculumreform. Classroom teaching behavior is not only a information transfer process basedon students but also a secondary transmission process in which teachers teachknowledge information by visual and sound symbols. Because the traditional teachingmethods mainly depends on teachers’ interpretation, teaching materials, blackboard-writing, so the students’ subjective initiative and interest in learning is difficult to bedeveloped. Therefore, Multimedia teaching,as a benign interactive teaching carrier, iswelcomed by many teachers and students. The further study of it deserves greatattractions in educational circles.Solid geometry is the subject which studies the nature of the space graphics,drawing, calculation and application of discipline. The ultimate goal of high schoolteaching of solid geometry is to develop the students’ logical thinking ability andspace imagination ability, and to teach them how to use knowledge to further improvethe abilities to found and analysis problems as well as problem-solving ability.Multimedia aided teaching of solid geometry can effectively realize the transitionfrom a plane to space, which can help students understand and grasp the key pointsand difficulties in learning solid geometry.However, although multimedia has entered the solid geometry class, theknowledge transfer mode is still the traditional way. As cognitive subjects, thestudents who have always been in a passive position can’t really be involved in theteaching design, which is unfavorable to the cultivation of creative talents and thedevelopment of students’ ability. The author write this paper, aims at analyzing themultimedia auxiliary teaching of solid geometry combined with the specific teachingexperiment, in order to explore the scientific principle of computer-aided solidgeometry teaching effectiveness, strategies and patterns. By studying these strategiesand methods, students can have a good learning atmosphere and active participation in teaching. So they can be encouraged to explore and find problems actively, whichfully embodies their subject positions in class.This study mainly uses literature study methods, experimental methods as well asobservation methods. The main contents of the study are as follows: First of all, thispaper respectively introduces the cause, necessity and significance of this study.Through a semester of teaching practice as well as some interviews and questionnairesurveys among the teachers and students, it finds that the current situation ofmultimedia auxiliary teaching of solid geometry has a lot of problems, and theteaching effect is not so good. According to the current situation of the investigations,the author gets the significance of multimedia auxiliary teaching of solid geometrythrough reading and referencing a large number of literature and investigations atpresent as well as the theory of combining multimedia auxiliary teaching. Then, therelated theories of multimedia applied in solid geometry teaching are analyzed. Thepaper respectively expounds the meaning of multimedia technology applied in solidgeometry teaching and the meaning of the effectiveness of teaching, In addition,italso points out the evaluation standard and the significance of multimedia technologyapplied in solid geometry teaching. Next, through the design of the questionnaires aswell as the analysis and study about them, the paper sums up the influence factors ofmultimedia technology applied in solid geometry effective teaching and give somesuggestions.Finally, the paper studies the effectiveness of multimedia technology applied insolid geometry teaching strategies, principles and solutions. First, it puts forward fivestrategies of the effectiveness of multimedia technology used in solid geometryteaching. Then, the six principles of the effectiveness of multimedia technologyused in solid geometry teaching are pointed out, they are students’ subjectivity,effectiveness,interactive, openness,discipline, the property of fading gradually,andadaptability. At last, on the basis of the six principles, the effectiveness of multimediatechnology applied in solid geometry teaching is proposed from seven aspects, suchas the teaching goal, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching media,determination on the teaching order, the formation of the teaching scheme. This paper is a new attempt for solid geometry teaching in high school. Thisstudy aims to break the existing high school teaching of solid geometry model, to givegives full play to the advantages of multimedia teaching. In addition, the paper alsowants to improve the subject status of high school students as well as to develop thestudents’ initiative and creativity, thereby the teaching quality can be improved.
