| Solid geometry,covered in the College Entrance Exam each year,in significant in math teaching of high schools,however,most of current research on solid geometry focus on the mathematical problems and related solution,while little than them done on teaching in practice,the attribution analysis and the connect approaches.Research methods adopted in this include literature referencing questionnaire survey and interviewing.though investigation and data analysis of covered teaching /learning solid geometry in the high school where the author works,we draw the following preliminary conclusions(1)both the teacher and the students have underestimated the importance of fostering core competence from teaching/leaning solid geometry,(2)the function of exercises in the textbook is not exported to the full extend,(3)current teaching methods file to arouse student’s intent in leaning solid geometry,(4)lack of targeted cultivation in student’s ability like space cognition,inference and calculation,(5)ignorant the influence of teacher’s evaluation on student’s study.Based on the investigation,we prepare the following approaches:(1)Fostering teacher’s recognition of teaching solid geometry by using core competence to make student’s being aware of the feasibility and importance in improving their mathematical qualification;(2)Making full use of examples and exercises in the textbook to improve the student’s ability of thinking.(3)Providing an all round way to stimulate student’s intend in learning solid geometry;(4)Improving student’s ability of space cognition and inference by laying a solid foundation.(5)Highlighting the teaching reflection and summary by emphasizing teacher’s evaluation of student’s performance. |
