Physics as a science is one of the most mature areas of research, studying theimpact of physical factor on creativity is very important for promoting the creativityresearch. Relatively few empirical studies had explored the relationship betweenlearning achievement and creativity, and there are different and even conflicting views.So we think that to further explore the relationship between learning achievement anddomain-specific creativity can reveal the relationship between learning achievementand their creativity, and the internal mechanism of other variables also help us toreveal the problems. Creative self-efficacy as an individual variable that is positcorrelate with tasks. On the basis of the existing theoretical analysis, proposedcreative self-efficacy is one of the ways physical achievement influence physicalcreative ideas, and through empirical research had proved this point which helps us tobetter understand the mechanism of learning achievement and their creativity.Participants in this study were277second-year high school science classes. Theparticipants responded to the Creative self-efficacy Scale and physical creativityInventory, and then we collected physics academic performances of participants. Weexamined the role of creative self-efficacy on the relationship between physicalachievement and physical creativity, draws following conclusion:1. High school students’ self-efficacy had no significant differences on genderand urban-rural.2. High school students physical creativity had no significant differences ongender and urban-rural.3. Creative self-efficacy positively predicted physical creativity, and physicalachievement was positively predicted physical creativity.4. Creative self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between physics academicachievement in physics and physical creativity.5.Creative self-efficacy could partly mediate the relationship between physicalperformance and fluency/flexibility/appropriateness; Creative self-efficacy couldcompletely mediate the relationship between physical performance and originality.
