This research took 117 grade 3 secondary school students as participants. A pre test-post test matching control grouped quasi-experimental design was used in the study. The research carried out with two groups. One of these groups was designated randomly as the experimental and the other was as the control group. A Creativity Training Activity (CTA) was designed for the purpose of this study. While the CTA was carried out in the experimental group, the control group was not given this program. The training activity bases on developing the self-consciousness and creative personality of middle school students by group discussion, role play, game and so on.55 students in the experimental group receive 10 activities once a week. All the participants take pretest and post-test. Using Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking(Word Version), Williams's Creativity Assessment Packet (CAP) as research tools. The compositions which stand for students' creative writing will be assessed by Amabile's consensual assessment technique(CAT). Data obtained in this study will be analyzed using SPSS 13.0 and AMOS 6.0.The main conclusions are as follows:1. The secondary school students' creative thinking in three factors of average and standard deviations from low to high in order:fluency, originality, flexibility; The factors of creative personality showed that:curiosity's scores wass highest, and its standard deviation was largest in the four factors, and the Risk-taking is lowest and smallest.2. Each factor and total score of creative thinking and creative personality had significantly positive relationship; creative personality can be predicted by creative thinking, and vice versa.3. The Creativity Training Activity could promote students' creative thinking, creative personality and creative writing significantly.4. The Creativity Training Activity could improve students' creative writing level.5. Creative thinking and its three factors (fluency, flexibility and Originality) was very significantly related to creative writing; Creative personality and its four factors (Risk-taking, curiosity, imagination and Complexity) was significantly related to creative writing, but related degree was less than creative thinking with it. Creative thinking and creative personality could predict creative writing ability.6. Creative thinking, creative personality and creative writing had significantly positive correlation with each other. Students' creative thinking had wholly mediator effect between creative personality and creative writing, and reative personality indirectly affected creative writing.
