In today’s society, global awareness is becoming the consensus of the people. Associatedwith this global awareness, human and cultural exchanges have become more frequent and thisideology also brought new changes to the field of education, that is to say, multicultural artseducation concept has been widely accepted. Under the influence of this concept, the teachingof art has come into a new space for development, which is shown in2003ordinary high schoolart curriculum standards.Curriculum ideas, the series set, content standards, learning activitiesrecommended standard of achievement and teaching have a significant change, compared to theoutline. Particularly it has strengthened the traditional art study, strived to reflect the face ofmulticulturalism, and enhanced the links between art and other disciplines.In2007,as all highschools in China implemented new fine arts curriculum, the new teaching philosophy began togradually go deeper.As a result of the influence of the traditional concept of art appreciation, new teaching ideasand teaching ideas haven’t entirely combined with the teaching practice. In the field of artappreciation the new curriculum reform is also proposed to respect the multi-cultural and trainnational aesthetic awareness, and both have a complementary and inseparable dialecticalrelationship. But in the actual teaching, the students’ understanding of this relationship betweenthe two is still lacking. In view of the students’ lower level of awareness of their own cultureand identity, it is necessary to strengthen the culture of the local community and the nation.Theart is the areas of culture so art appreciation should undertake the historic task to inherit andcarry forward the Chinese culture.The key point of this article is to develop a multi-cultural attitude to cultivate multiculturalattitudes around why and how to cultivate multicultural attitude to start on. The thesis consistsof two parts: the proposed new requirements for training multicultural attitude to artappreciation; to cultivate multicultural attitudes in the concrete practice of art appreciation.In the first part, combined with the new curriculum ideas, it analyses the importance andurgency of to cultivate multicultural attitude in art appreciation, as well as what newrequirements are put forward for teachers and students. In the second part, to cultivate multicultural attitudes in the concrete practice of art appreciation is the focus of this article.First, taking the literati painting works and construction works of art as an example, I analyzehow feelings and experience recognized aesthetic ideology of the traditional works of art andaesthetic value, and in conjunction with my classroom teaching, analyze comparative law in theart appreciation classroom, elaborated the national aesthetic ideology in art appreciationpenetration; Secondly, under the influence of the new educational theory, by analyzing thechanges in classroom teaching goal design, teaching mode and learning style as well as newteaching methods’ and evaluation methods’ use in the process of teaching, I,in this assay,discuss how to develop multicultural attitude of students in the teaching process, combiningcase studies and teaching experience.Therefore, this paper describes how to combine the latest teaching concepts, teaching theoryand teaching practice in art appreciation course. And it aims to cultivate multicultural attitudeand combine it with a new teaching philosophy in lessons, and ultimately use specific teachingpractice not just stay at the level of theoretical research.Finally, the teaching cases presented is an art appreciation exploration and try, which theauthor finished by using the above theory.
