A Comparative Study Of Current Situation Of The Development Of Wushu And Taekwondo In Heilongjiang Province

Tae kwon do was started to carry out since1992. Now, it has been popularrapidly in China. Development trend of Wushu is not optimistic in contrast to Taekwon do. Researchers have started to pay attention to the development gap betweenWushu and Tae kwon do, and hope to learn from the successful experiences of Taekwon do in order to promote the development of Chinese Wushu. Due to thedifferences in regional economic and cultural development, it is targeted and effectiveto compare Tae kwon do and Wushu development status of different regions. In viewof these, we research the development differences between Tae kwon do and Wushuof the Heilongjiang province. The thesis would provide reference for the Wushupopularity, thus realize comprehensive development of Wushu in HeilongjiangProvince.Research object is the development status of tae kwon do and Wushu ofHeilongjiang province in this paper. We obtain first-hand materials by the literaturematerial method, the interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematicalstatistics method, etc. These materials provide the theoretical support and materialaccumulation for the paper. The results show:1. We investigate curriculum of Tae kwon do and Wushu and cognitive degree ofuniversity students. The results show: Curriculum proportion of Tae kwon do isslightly lower than Wushu course. The university students in Heilongjiang provinceunderstand not only Wushu but also Tae kwon do. The university students are moreinterested in Tae kwon do than Wushu. But in learning intention, the students arewilling to study Wushu and also Tae kwon do.2. Wushu exercisers are mainly6-17years adolescent and46-60years older withbalanced sex ratio in Heilongjiang Province. They graduated from junior high schooleducation. They exercise with friends and colleagues with higher frequency andlonger duration. In addition, they choose to exercise in the morning or after dinner inthe Park Plaza. In contrast, Tae kwon do exercisers mainly are young people of18-30 years older with high school education. The participants are male mostly, who like toexercise alone. Exercise frequency and duration of them are lower than Wushuexercisers. They choose to exercise Tae kwon do in the weekend, and with highuncertainty. The participants study Tae kwon do in the toll field mostly.3. Industry scale of Heilongjiang wushu is uneven, ranging from58000squaremeters to less than100square meters. Venues scale of Tae kwon do is also uneven.The biggest venue is700-800square meters, the smallest is only30–60squaremeters. In Heilongjiang province, the average price of amateur Wushu class is120y/12h. And Tae kwon do is180y/12h. The management mode of Wushu industry inHeilongjiang province is mainly Wushu schools and folk Wushu class. The wordlibrary is main form of Tae kwon do.4.The reasons of Tae kwon do successful promotion are as follows inHeilongjiang province. On the one hand, it can always cater to the development needsof the times; on the other hand, it have rich etiquette moral enlightenment, and simpleand practical technology system, as well as simple JinDuan system, etc.5. In view of the development current situation of Wushu and Tae kwon do inHeilongjiang province, the paper puts forward Wushu development countermeasuresand suggestions. At first, Wushu’ promotion content and system should been abundantin universities. Secondly, we should pay attention to wushu etiquette and spiritualvalue. The third, we should strengthen Wushu popularization and promotion of middleand primary school. The forth, the public abroad idea to Wushu should been changed.At last, we should reform Wushu products and industrial development thought.
