"To achieve learning objectives" is the new spirit of learning evaluation asproposed in the new curriculum standards. For this, discovering new teaching methodsfor modern physical education, of which can effectively improve the students’ physicalfitness, innovative spirit and comprehensive capacity is the most important subject weare facing, and the development direction of sports teaching. Evaluation of individualstudent learning has the effect to optimize sports teaching. It can also strengthen theteacher-student communication and reflect the idea of student-centered teaching. Trackand field teaching occupies an important position in the entire teaching. It has alwaysbeen one of the key materials of various types of physical education which is paid muchattention by colleges and universities for decades.This paper adopted several analysis methods including literature data, experimentalcomparison, mathematical statistics and logical methods based on the teachingexperiments of two classes from Suzhou Radio and Television University. One class isas the control class, and the other as the experiment class. The teaching contents aresprint and knee-tuck type. Using comparative experimental evaluation teaching methodand traditional teaching method, through the teaching goal system of unit teachingevaluation and the implementation of the teaching evaluation and teaching information’sfeedback, we get the data of students’ master to the theory, sports skill and learningattitude of track and field, drawing the following conclusions:1. The individual learning evaluation method of teaching can improvestudents master the track and field theoretical knowledgeThe individual learning evaluation method of track and field technique teachinghas great promoting effect, not only helps students grasp the theoretical knowledge ofthe track and field, and help to improve students’ language skills, and the teaching effectare superior to traditional teaching methods.2. The individual learning evaluation method of teaching can help students tomaster the skills of track and field The results show that the experimental class’s compliance and evaluation results of100m and crouching long jump were higher than the control class, and to grasp theskills was significantly better than the control class. So the individual learningevaluation method of track and field technique teaching can helps students understandthe principles and content of the technical movements and can makes students quicklygrasp the technical movements in the aspects of the Technique Evaluation standards ofmotor skills. Through repeated learning assessment makes teachers understandingstudents grasp the motor skills situation in time, and based on this feedback informationto regulate the teaching process. what’s more, the technical difficulty is bigger theadvantages of the individual learning evaluation approach is greater.3. The individual learning evaluation method of teaching can improvestudents’ positive attitude towards learningIndividual learning evaluation method can fully arouse the enthusiasm of students,can meet their mental satisfaction by learning, and can further stimulate interest inlearning, so as to improve their self-consciousness of learning. Individual learningevaluation of learning teaching method is popular than traditional teaching methodamong students and it proves that the integrated teaching method is better thantraditional teaching method.4. The individual learning evaluation method of teaching can improve theteaching ability of teachersThe application of individual learning evaluation in the teaching of track and fieldcan help teachers to review their teaching behavior and ability. It makes senses to theimprovement of their problem solving and all-round development, the enrichment ofteachers’ knowledge structure, capacity and all kinds of abilities; On the other hand,students’ ability of observation, analysis and problems solving, habit of independentthinking, overall quality of innovative spirit and the cultivation of comprehensivequality can also be improved.Suggestions are as follows:1. Teaching content should be scientific and reasonable arranged, especially thetime control, when apply the individual learning teaching method in sports technologyteaching, of which the key lies in the students’ practice, and what’s more the classcontent should be brief, the goal should be clear, and it should be separated from the theory class teaching, and the class should be short. When students are clear and meetthe requirement of teachers, practice should be immediately started, to ensure theeffective transfer of knowledge2. Individual learning evaluation should provide feedback channel for students totransfer information about sports skills, so that the students could constantly getfeedback information at all stages of technological learning, timely find out theadvantages and disadvantages of the current technology, and make improvement, to geta higher step.3.In practice teaching, teachers should constantly sum up experience, absorb theadvantage of other teaching method, there are a lot of sports teaching methods,individual learning evaluation method can be combined with other methods, and learnfrom each other, so as to better and more flexible use of the individual learningevaluation method.4. Individual learning evaluation teaching put forward higher requirements forteachers, so teachers must constantly learning and study teaching technology, furtherstudy the system theory and dialectics, to improve their ability in many aspects, toimprove with students at the same time, and make themselves shift to research-orientedteachers.
