College Students’ Association is a special carrier of Cultivating College Students’ citizen consciousness, has the characteristics of voluntary, autonomy is in favor of cultivating civic awareness of College students.Study on college students in cultivating students’ citizen consciousness is the role of further deepening the reform of our country, the development of the socialist market economy, is the need to build a harmonious socialist society in China, is also the contemporary university students’ development and the need of training qualified citizens of socialism. At present, college student association plays an important role in cultivating students’ citizen consciousness, but there are also many problems. Through the questionnaire survey and analysis of college students civic community college system in consciousness in detail, summed up the overall situation of College Students’ citizen consciousness is more optimistic, but found that the college students’ understanding of college society overall is not enough, the conception of citizen biased understanding. At the same time, college student association management also is not standard.Discussion on cultivating civic awareness of college students in the college society activities, from the analysis of gender, female university students association activities of civic awareness in the whole higher than boys; from grade analysis, high grade college students civic awareness is relatively stronger than the low grade; from the analysis of the growth of regional, rural students civic awareness is higher than city students in professional comparison; on the whole, history, science professional college students civic awareness is generally higher than the students of science and engineering.Why the university community college students civic awareness level is not high, at first by the students on the community resulting from inadequate understanding; second is the association activities less, low participation of college students; the last is the community college lack of harmonious and stable internal environment and external environment. On the basis of the above analysis, put forward to the positive countermeasures to cultivate college students’ citizen consciousness in community college. The first to attach importance to community colleges and universities play in the cultivation of College Students’ citizen consciousness; second to establish the college society activities aim, cultivating community members grow into qualified citizens; third should pay more attention to the community theme activities, to carry out special activities of civic education; fourth is to improve the College society activities, reflects the democratic equality; fifthly, classification guidance activities in colleges, for different types of societies have to cultivate college students civic awareness.
