Research On The Quality Improvement Of Local Government Statistical Data

Statistical data quality is the life of the statistics. As the global economic integration speeding up, as a measure of economic development statistical data and its quality problems become the party and government leaders at all levels and the social from all walks of life universal attention question. In particular, China’s accessions to the WTO, with the world economy, while expanding the community demand for statistical information, the quality of statistical information requirements also increasingly strict. Statistical information quality not only affects and determines the availability of statistical information, also affects the government in all kinds of decisions. Therefore, improving the quality of statistical data to achieve accurate, effective and comprehensive statistics has important significance.This paper consisted of five parts. The first part of introduction briefly describes the research background, research purpose and significance of this article, the research both at home and abroad, theoretical tools, research ideas and research methods and thesis of the innovation and deficiencies. The second part introduces the government statistical data quality and management system, provides the theory basis for the subsequent chapters. The third part introduces the development of Xinxiang High-tech Zone’s statistical system present situation and the achievements, as well as the problems in terms of quality of statistical data. The fourth part in view of the cause of local government statistical data quality problems causes analysis. The fifth part, the comprehensive content on the basis of the third and fourth chapter, proposed our country local government statistical data quality improvement countermeasures and suggestions.
