Study On Quality Improvement Of Nanan Government Statistical Data

Statistics institution of local government takes the responsibility for the important statistical tasks,such as data collection,sorting,analysis,and announcement,which has been an important part of the statistical work in our country.The statistical data it provided takes an important reference for making scientific decision and management.In the era of big data,as a kind of data product which serves the society,because of its “non-exclusive” and “non-competitive”,statistical data was listed in the “public products” or “quasi-public product”,which made the statistics institution of local government also has the nature of public organizations.However,due to the impact of various internal and external factors,the social credibility of this product is being questioned.How to improve the quality of local government statistical data,and make the data plays the important role of serving economic growth and social progress,have become the focus of the current reform of statistical work.As grass-roots organization of statistical system,researching how to improve the quality of Nanan statistical,on one hand it is of great significance to improve service quality and to promote economic growth and social of nanan city;On the other hand it also plays an important role in improving the government statistical data quality of other places in our country and statistical data credibility.The paper based on the purpose to improve the quality of Nanan government statistical data,studied from the perspective of public management,closely combined with statistical work,and used the relevant theoretical of applied statistics and total quality management.By referring to the predecessors’ research results,the paper analyzed the quality of statistical data in Nanan city from the perspective of data providers,managers,users and other participants.Firstly,by the questionnaire survey to query relevant information about the present statistical work’s situation of Nanan City,and by analyzing the present situation to explore the Nanan City Statistics problems in the aspect of data provider,data manager,data users and statistical management system.Secondly on the basis of carefully sorting out the problems,this paper analysis the influencing factors of Nanan government statistical data quality,find out some contradictory relations behind those influence factors,and study the principal of them,by which to found the root causes of influencing the quality of statistical data.Finally,by drawing lessons from domestic and international experienc in statistical management,the paper provides some suggestions about how to improve the quality of Nanan Government Statistical Data from the macroscopic aspect and microscopic aspect.
