Higher vocational education for short, is an important part ofhigher education in our country. Since1980, our country set up aprofessional university to now, the higher vocational education hasexperienced a rapid development. With the rapid development of ourcountry’s economy, the increasingly urgent demand for technologyapplied talents, it provides an opportunity for the development ofhigher vocational education. Party’s eighteen big report furtherpointed out that speed up the development of modern vocationaleducation, to promote higher education connotation development.This update request is put forward on the development of highervocational education and more severe challenges. How to promote thesurvival and development of higher vocational education better,teachers incentive is a effective way, because of higher vocationalteachers incentives to mobilize enthusiasm and work enthusiasm,improve work efficiency, enhance the construction of teachers team,thus improve the strength and competitiveness of higher vocationalcolleges. The author who works at a higher vocational college, theeducation and management theory, by careful study thinks that theincentive theory and management practice in higher vocationalcolleges teachers, vocational teachers incentive study on thedevelopment of higher vocational education has important practicalsignificance.This paper first reviews some important incentive theory, namelythe Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory, ERG theory, Two-Factortheory, Attribution theory, Fair theory, Internal and ExternalIntegrated Incentive theory, then the study of higher vocationalcollege teachers incentive at home and abroad. The proposed vocational colleges teachers incentive problems: namely theincentives of a single, not both of the differences between teachers ofdifferent levels demand; Allocation standard is not scientific, affectthe incentive effect; Training system is not sound, affect incentives tokeep; The incentive evaluation of teachers’ heavy scientific researchlight teaching the four problems, and analyse the causes of theseproblems, according to the above problem and puts forward somecountermeasures to solve these problems.This article used the literature method, questionnaire method andinterview method, combined with the situation in wuhai vocationaland technical college, through the empirical analysis of teachers’needs and the motivating factors GuanQieDu. Thus puts forward thecountermeasures of improving higher vocational teachers incentive:adopts comprehensive incentive method, both the level of teachersneeds; To establish optimal lowe optimal reward distribution system;Build long-term perfect training system; Scientific and reasonableevaluation system, through these measures to mobilize teachers’ workenthusiasm, thus improve the work efficiency.Paper finally stressed that these teachers incentives isrecommended, is pay attention to the development needs of theconstantly advancing with The Times, hope this topic the researchresults to the management reform of higher vocational teachers andadministrators have certain reference and guidance.
