An Analysis On The Mental Health Of Young Teachers In Primary And Secondary Schools In Ordos

Recently, with the regional economic leap-step development of Ordos, itseducational cause has gained enormous progress as well, construction ofteaching staff and teaching environment has improved comprehensively. Withthe improvement of teacher treatment and teaching environment, is teachermental health level on the positive side as well? Teacher mental health, as thecore element of teacher competence structure, directly affects and restricts theimprovement of teaching quality. With the leap-step economic developmentof Ordos, the social mentality and concept of people here has changed a lottoo, will those changes affect the mental health level of young teachers ofprimary and secondary schools? At the same time, as young people, the youngteachers have more strong will of developing and pursuing success, will theseinner needs be satisfied in Ordos current social environment? All theseproblems will affect young teacher mental health level as well. Therefore, theauthor has made a research of the primary and secondary school youngteacher mental health statue in Ordos. Based on the ideas above, the authorpromotes three research hypotheses:1. There are mental health level otherness between the primary andsecondary school young teacher and other people in Ordos.2. There are relevance between the mental health statue and the unfairfeeling of the primary and secondary school young teacher in Ordos.3. There are relevance between the mental health statue and theirachievement motivation of the primary and secondary school young teacher inOrdos.Based on the hypotheses above, the author uses the psychologicalquestionnaire survey and interview method to research the mental healthstatue of the primary and secondary school young teacher in Ordos, and all the data are processed with SPSS12.0i. The results are as below:1. The mental health level of the primary and secondary school youngteacher in Ordos is obviously lower than nation average.2. There is a negative correlation between the mental health statue andthe unfair feeling of the primary and secondary school young teacher inOrdos.3. There is a positive correlation between the mental health statue andthe pursuing success motivation of the primary and secondary school youngteacher in Ordos, and isn’t related with avoiding failure motivation.According to the research, the author promotes some improvablemeasures, mainly including build mental health education mechanism, buildschool psychological support system, build social psychological supportsystem and so on to improve the mental health level of the primary andsecondary school young teacher.
