| Harmonious education has a long history and deep cultural and philosophicalfoundation at home and abroad. With the proposal of building a socialist harmonioussociety, harmonious education get more and more attention. As the development of acollege education model, harmonious education has achieved initial results in practice.However,by the impact of examination-oriented education and market economicdevelopment, although higher education mostly targeted at training educational goals,moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic development of qualified builders andtalent, most of them focus on our current knowledge teaching, and pay attention tostudents’ intellectual development, and they neglect the aspects of the development ofstudents’ moral, physical and aesthetic, and ignore the students’ mental and spiritualdevelopment needs at the same time, resulting in the development of all aspects ofquality students discorded. Constructing the system of harmonious education isparticularly urgent.In this paper, we find out current situation of harmonious education system byempirical investigation, starting from a relatively micro level. We start from fiveaspects of the philosophy of education, curriculum development, teacher training,student training and educational environment to analyze problems and reasons ofharmonious education system and find out the corresponding way.First of all, we sort harmonious education theory traceability and developmentprocess in history and make harmonious education systematic theoretical discussion,through literature review, drawing on results of previous studies, and clear concept ofharmonious education, characteristics, and the implementation of the principle ofharmonious education and practical significance and other aspects.Secondly, we deliver a questionnaire to students and interviews to teachers tounderstand the current situation of system construction in higher education,based onclarifying aspects of the harmonious education system, and sum up the problems ofconstruction of harmonious education system in colleges and universities, namelyeducational philosophy lag, utilitarian,curriculum unreasonable, and there are errors in teachers’ training, and students develop biased, and educational environment is notperfect.And then analysis reasons from four aspects of the community, universities,teachers, students, for example,focusing on traditional, influencing by socialphenomenon easily, education on the harmonious thinking and understanding is notdeep in colleges and universities, people-oriented concept missing, teachers lack asense of ownership, and students have distinctive personality and unstable values.Finally, based on the problem analysis of the issue of higher educationconstruction and according to the realities of our colleges and universities andlearning from the successful experience, we analyze the construction way ofharmonious education system in colleges and universities. These are fosteringharmonious philosophy of education, building a harmonious curriculum, promotingharmonious development of teachers, guiding students to the harmoniousdevelopment and building a harmonious educational environment. |
