Discussion On Safety Management Of Colleges And Universities In Wulanchabu City

Along with the reform and opening-up of our country, the highereducation development rapidly in the city of Wulancahbu, has madeconsiderable progress, and show a gratifying prospect. Wulanchabu city hasthree universities, they are JiNing Teacher,s College, Wulanchabu VocationalCollege, Wulanchabu Medical College. They always attach great importanceto the campus safety management work, always adhere to the"people-oriented" concept of development, and actively create a "harmoniouscampus", have made great progress and effect in the campus safetymanagement work. However, throughout the campus safety is facing a grimsituation, the universities in our city are facing new challenges, and thecampus safety management situation still serious. Although the universities inour city have made great effort in campus safety management work, and havetaken a number of effective measures, there still exist some problems, such as,the safe guard consciousness is not strong, lack of funds, the organization isdiseased, the system is not perfect, and the safety emergency plan isformalization. therefore, strengthening the safety management in cityuniversity of theory research and practice exploration, still is a veryimportant and urgent work.In this paper, the author first introduces some related concepts of safety management, such as safety management, University Safety Administration,Safety Accidents, University Accident, and discusses the classification ofaccidents in Colleges and Universities. And then, the author analyzes theuniversity safety management situation in Wulanchabu city and the problemsexisting in the safety management work. The author thinks that, although thecolleges and universities made great efforts in the campus safety managementwork, but our security situation is still severe, and the work is still exists someproblems, and gives some relevant cases to made a brief analysis. On thisbasis the author analyzes a variety of reasons of university accidents. Theauthor thinks that, there are some of the main reasons for university accidents,such as natural disasters, social problems, issues of public security, the erroror omission in university safety management work (For example, safetyeducation is not thorough, safety input is insufficient, safety managementwork is not perfect, safety management system is not perfect, the lack ofsafety drilling). As the doctors found the cause can be an antidote against thedisease, after we found out the causes of the problems, we can put forwardways to solve the problems. Based on the analysis of the causes of safetyaccident, the author put forward some proposal to improve the universitysafety management work, such as to strengthen the safety education forcollege teachers and students, to strengthen the safety investment; To improvethe organizational efficiency; To improve the safety management system,Safety emergency plan should adapt to local conditions, constructing the security control network on the basis of integrating all the power of thesociety; To realize the institutionalization and routinization of safetymanagement work.
