“moral education” as the key point of China’s education, one side it emphasizes humanbeing’s inherent requirement, the other side it also stresses self-education and self-restrain.“moral education” is a comprehensive education system with abundant connotation. Forthousands of years, the traditional education mode, Confucian moral educational ideologyprimarily, has trained numerous people with lofty ideals. They are the backbone of theChinese nation. And the power of this ideology is the basic of prosperous Chinese nation.Nowadays, traditional Confucian moral educational ideology on the moral education inuniversity still has practical significance. In the twenty-first century, material life is greatwealth, Western ideas are continuous influx and ideas are diversification. Therefore, moraleducation in university is facing unprecedented difficulties, such as the absence of traditionalConfucian moral ideology, Marxism conceptualization, and the superficial of ideological andpolitical education. All of these not only cause the huge deviation of world outlook, lifeoutlook and values in college students, but also decline in social morality. Faced with thisdilemma, traditional Chinese ideological education in university, especially Confucian moraleducational ideology is urgent. In the forefront of the times, this paper made the moraleducation in university and traditional Confucian moral educational ideology combineperfectly through a comprehensive sort of the theory of traditional Confucian moraleducational ideology and redefined a fresh era of value. It made “educating people withmoral” and “Moral internalization” came true, thus improve the effectiveness of moraleducation of contemporary college students.This paper sorted out the essence of Confucian moral educational ideology, and relied onthe representatives and concept of Confucian to clarify the overall objective, theory basics,main content, realization process and practical method, so that to find out the value of moraleducation in Confucianism influencing modern university. On this basis to realize theintegration of Confucian and modern university’s moral education and carry out theConfucianism in the modern university’s education as well as to explore the new ways ofdevelopment of modern moral education.It tries expounding the value of Confucian moraleducational ideology from the rational height, and discussing reconstruction of theory andpractical ways of Confucian moral educational ideology in the contemporary university. Thispaper clears direction of moral education that we want college students to develop into whatkind of talent, establish what kind of life outlook, have what kind of virtue, and how to improve our self-cultivation. At the same time, this paper finished theoretical reconstructionof Confucian moral educational ideology and modern value conversion of the essence oftraditional culture. Through a variety of ways, this paper uses theory to guide practice,moreover effectively promotes and safeguards the implementation of moral education inuniversity.In a word, ideological and political education workers only make full use of the conceptof traditional Confucian moral educational ideology, influence character by environment andcorrect guidance, in order to college students truly become a qualified intellectual, a goodcitizen or an outstanding cultural elite. Finally, it helps to achieve the great rejuvenation of theChinese nation.
