"Of Sincerity" Confucianism Value For Reference In College Students' Moral Education

Currently, China is in the special period of social transition. With the rapid development of informational technology, information flow has been promoted. In addition, continuing reform and open up helps a large amount of western thoughts flooded into China. Western thoughts broaden people's horizon, however, western thoughts also affect people's original value orientation. Moral education for college students' is not a vacuum process. The process will be influenced by social environment, which shows a series of problems. "Of sincerity" Confucianism from Chinese traditional and cultural focuses on people's inner. "Of sincerity" believes that moral cultivation through self-efforts of the inter, and subjected to self-regulate mental and moral discipline, consciously to evil from the good, to maintain a good healthy attitude, to take the initiative to establish the goal of good deeds, from the inside out, to make people turn into practice their self-income, to help others raise moral training, ultimately form a good moral ambience. The concept of self-Confucianism has positive significance to help college students establish a firm philosophy, ethics, adhere to the correct moral values, to deal with the social form of value pluralism tendencies. Meanwhile, "Of sincerity "raises ideological content, such as "hold dream relating introspection of self-supervision", "Cautious", " Forbearance", " Knowledge and Action" traditional Confucian way of educating people, so that universities will also form the current education innovation to explore revelation. The author thinks that drawing on traditional culture of beneficial ingredients in college students' moral education and exploring ways to combine traditional culture and contemporary culture not only help to enhance Chinese cultural soft power, improve college students' cultural identity, establish an appropriate value orientation and a kind-hearted faith, and respond to the challenges of social value of diversity in transitional society but also accord with general secretary Jinping Xi's emphasis on party's 18th spirit which helps to conduct to in-depth understanding of the core values of the socialist ideology, and earnestly practice the socialist core values. As a result, author chose "Of sincerity" Confucianism from traditional culture and learnt from great educational philosophies and methods, searched the solutions about problems happened in current moral education and used theories depending on practice to start this paper.
