The Study Of Affecting Factors And Coaching Effects Of The Foreign Coachers In Chinese Professional Basketball Clubs

The trend of the modernization of the international sports is the leaping number of foreign coach.With the first foreign coach appearing in CBA,there was foreign cocah in CBA every year.But it is amazing that the foreign cocahes couldn’t put their ability to use.tin the long run,it will be adverse to the development of CBA and Chinese basketball.There must be inherent reason for this phenomena.By investigating the managers,Chinese coaches and baskerball players working in Chinese basketball clubs who have been introduced into forengn coaches,the author try to dicuss the factors that working on the coaching behavior of the foreign coaches,analyze their coaching achievements and frustrated reasons,and bring forward some constructive advises as well as developing countermeasures.Therefore,providing some references for the charging basketball departments.And hoping that this article work on the CBA’s continuance development and the refulgence of Chinese basketballThe results indicated that:(1)Up to 2007,the total number of the foreien coach in Chinese basketball club is 28 persons,36 person-time,the most were used as dominant coach and assistant coach,the minority were used as administer coach and team’s advisor,the latter bring forth favorable effects.The age structure is reasonable,the average age is 50.2.(2)The trench of introducing foreign coach in basketball clubs is confusional and diversificational.Retaining foreign coach blindly lead to the loss of interest.(3)The ability of the most foreign coachs be well,some were inferior,the coaching time of the foreign coaches is short ubiquitously.And they lack of understanding and familiarity to the Chinese basketball,they just take part in the term’s game.In Chinese professional basketball clubs,there is such phenomenon that team’s boss interfere with the training and match,along with the difference of the basketball idea and culture and coaching background between Chinese and foreign countrys,the coaching behavior of the foreign coaches fall under certern influence.(4)There was contradiction between foreign coaches and Chinese basketball players,and it influence the foreign coach’s coaching behaviors as well as players’ training and match,thus produce effects on the team’s performance.Foreign coaches basically has a kind of peacefull and harmonious relationgships with Chinese coaches,but still exist smallness contradiction,and that doesn’t influence the coaching behavior of the foreign coaches.(5)Generally sperking,the performance of the foreign coachers are not satisfatory,but the performance of some are very good.Even so,the professional spirit and attainment as so as advanced training drills and commanding arts benefited chinese coachers and players.The authour put forward correlative advices,hoping that it can provide some references for the Chinese professional basketball clubs in introducing and making use of the foreign coachers.
