Chen Zhong is the first Olympic gold medal receiver on Taekwondo in the history of our country.Her success is also a symbol success of Chinese Taekwondo team.The achievement of Chen Zhong is closely related to her assiduous training and the arrangement of coach,especially in the face of 2008 Olympic Games,Chen Zhong has been full of hope and expection to strive herself to get the precious opportunity.During two Olympic games in 2000 and 2004,her achievement depends on the tactics application.This paper analyzed and discussed the tactic characteristics of Chen Zhong during the competition to provide scientific reference and theory.Research methods such as document method、statistics method、logic analysis、inquiring and investigation are applied in this research to conclude and sum up the characteristic of tactics in competition and make quantitative analyze to the relevant content.Research has been discovered that:1,The advantage of Chen Zhong’s height constitutes the consistent beat of foreleg and right-left leg as well as back kick changing and split down tactic as the main way of score catching.2,As the lack of stability in psychological when stayed in the lead situation under the opponent mark pursues,erroneous judgment of the opponent appearing,hurry legs breaking out and leg kick about empty space lead to the mark lost when meeting the opponent.3,From participating in Olympic Games in the first time in 2000 and thewhole world athlete in 2004.the success of Chen Zhong is related to the guiding ideology of our country’s Taekwondo national team and the spirit of daring to be innovative.In order to improve the pertinency of further tactical training in preparing for 2008 Olympic Games,research suggests:1,On aspect of intelligence and mentality training,setting up high degree of difficult contest pertinently,choosing the good ladder player and the method imitating,cultivate the bearing capability of mentality which needed by contest during the training stage, enhance the load of the training intensity.2,Continues strengthening her hindleg’s attacking technological superiority in return for every country’s research on Chen Zhong,and adopting dyadic folio technology exercise,through the change of tactic on station putting up to confuse the opponent to perfect our attacking circuit and the thought.3 The tactics that the characteristic designs about being of height stature in Chen Zhong has always kept advantage in two Olympic Games.But all the countries in the world have had more acquaintances to her.Therefore,during the training preparing for 2008 Olympic Games being aimed at tall person also should studies and practises to some extent.
