In the past two decades, China’s private economy has made considerable progress, andquickly become a major force in the national economy. With the development of economicglobalization, private investors and managers of the company pay more and more attention tothe relationship of the company’s top management team and corporate governance. They hopeto understand the relationship between senior managers’ background and all levels ofcorporate governance, and apply it to the company’s management, then make the companydevelop better, faster and healthier. Currently, the literature on the background characteristicsof the senior management team mostly focused on corporate performance, but research onspecific aspects are very little, this paper studies the influence of the backgroundcharacteristics of senior managers on employee allocation efficiency, to refine the impactof the characteristics of the senior management team to corporate governance, it has importantsignificance.Firstly, this article introduces the background and significance of the research. Secondly,this paper collects the literature of the characteristics of senior managers and employeeallocation efficiency on home and abroad, by reading and analyzing the literature, identify theproblem of the characteristics of senior managers and employee allocation efficiency, and takethese studies as basics for further research. Again, use standardized methods to build thetheoretical part, explain the theory status of the characteristics of senior managers andemployee allocation efficiency. Then, use the2008to2010public disclosure data of China’sprivate listed companies. Use descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysisand other methods of mathematical statistics. Analyze the characteristics of senior managersand employee allocation efficiency of China’s private listed company. Identify problems in thegovernance structure of China’s private listed companies.Put forward Recommendations ofimproving the background characteristics of senior managers, improve staffing efficiency inorder to promote the growth of listed companies better.Finally, we get the following conclusions; The average education of senior managementhas a negative relationship with the employees redundant in private listed companies; theaverage age of senior management has a positive relationship with the employees redundantin private listed companies; the size of the executive team has a negative relationship with theemployees redundant in private listed companies;.
