Recently, with the economic and information globalization, the traditional age ofthe Internet is moving to the mobile Internet era. The birth of the mobile terminalschanges the transmission model of human information as it affect the construction anddevelopment of the information society. On one hand, the mixed-media terminals andmultimedia development exacerbated the extent of audience fragmentation degree. Onthe other hand, the rapid development of mobile Internet has also attracted manyenterprises join in, such as mobile terminal manufacturers, telecom operators, contentproviders and third-party developers. Thus, the pattern of the mobile Internet industryis undergoing profound changes.As the first batch of mobile Internet enterprises,3G.net rely on free content andclient strategy to attract users and advertisers at first, and then started to achieveprofitability by online advertising in2007. However, its traffic and revenue are gettingdecline while traditional Internet enterprise and terminal manufacturers enter themarket strongly. Today,3G.net is facing both a huge market opportunity andcompetition in the pattern of industry. In order to come to the fore in the era of mobileInternet,3G portal has to clarify its strategic positioning to meet user needs, seize themobile Internet portal actively, take into account services of the content and theproducts, explore a wide range of profit model.
