Along with the enhancement of living standard, the public education level hasrisen ceaselessly. The science and technology knowledge craving from the public isgradually strengthening. A large number of merchandises have been containing lots ofnew knowledge and technology. In order to face severe challenges of the domesticand international markets and to create a higher value-added products business, moreand more enterprises have to take a responsibility to carry out science popularization.It is a new historic requirements form the fierce competition environment for ourenterprises.In regard to transmitter in5W communication mode added by another2factors,enterprises could enrich their company’s culture by propagating advanced science andtechnology in so many ways. From the aspect of communication content, Theenterprises usually make the deep science knowledge easy and then bring them to thepublic. It will shorten the gap between the cutting-edge technology and the publicabsorbing level that isdelivered advanced science,technology and the spirit of science.If I take media as my analyzing angle, I will find enterprises have more opportunitiesand capital to cooperate with both traditional media and brand new forms of media incomparison to universities or any other academic institutes. In this way,theseenterprises are able to make the use of priority and advantages to participate inPromoting Public Understanding of Science.Promoting Public Understanding ofScience is a very effective way to meet the staffdemand and to cultivate acompany’sculture for its own.Meanwhile, it could serve the public as well. Fromtheperspective of activity effects, It could promote a better company image incustomers’ mind-set and beat the competitors in the markets for the long-termdevelopment of enterprises. Satisfying and opening up the public increasing newdemand enable enterprises to enhance brand competitiveness and to establish bettersocial images. It is possible that it could create more opportunities for thedevelopment of enterprises. Last but not least, Building up a strongerlaw system,through enterprises spreading science and technology, can protect company fromlosing benefits. We have to take more social responsibilities to get a win-win situationwhich is public welfare benefits and economic benefits were obtained together by theenterprises. There are seven experiences indicating why those thirty nine representativeenterprises could be more successful about Promoting Public Understanding ofScience. It covers from not only enterprises, content, media but also to the public,effects and situations.In the process of Promoting Public Understanding of Science developments, it’spretty safe to say that there are several severe problems influencing onsciences-spreading efficiency and extent. For example, the leaders’ old-fashionednotions or the misconceptions, the lack of professionals or the high-educated experts,the defects of legislation system, the deficiency of communication with companypeers or expert institutions, all of these phenomena are the contributing factors whichare doing harm to our sciences-spreading works. In consideration of what I havementioned above, I point out four main obstacles about spreading science byenterprise. After researching the reasons for the four main existing problems that havementioned in this dissertation,4C guidance is put forward as leading methods tosolve the corresponding problems.4C respectively represents Communicationplatform, Conception form, Criterion parameters and Capital supports.If we cast our eye sight to the come-at-able future, we could see a very clear viewthat each company has to play a part in fulfilling itself the social responsibility. Theenterprises could gain more resources and get access to a brighter market through thisway. It is inevitable that every company, especially the world top500company, isgoing to build up a better company image and establish more loyalty in the customers’deep hearts. Definitely, Enterprises need to take advantages of Promoting PublicUnderstanding of Science to achieve a win-win situation.
