Research Of Hubei Province’s Endowment Insurance Problems Under The Background Of The Aging Population

Since the1990s, the age structure of population in Hubei province has changeddramatically, and first city in the country steps into aging society in1998. With theacceleration of Hubei’s aging process, the aging will cause somewhat imp-acts on theeconomic and social life, the effects of pension system are especially significant. Hubei lied inthe central of China in which economic development increases so poor, Degree of agingpopulation continues to deepen, and a large of prime labor move out, endowment burdencoefficient surge, all these result in that old age security are faced with great crisis.This paper from the study of the present situation causes and the development trend ofaging population in Hubei, using the way of analyzing the history population data, this papersummarizes some basic characteristics in Hubei’s aging process. Secondly, analysis thedevelopment course and the existing problems of the endowment insurance in Hubei, then theaging population’s impacts on the endowment insurance system in Hubei are proposed. Then,based on the comparative study of endowment insurance system reform in the trend of agingpopulation of The United States, Japan and Chile three countries, this paper find out thedeficiency of Hubei’s endowment insurance system and the improvement revelation for it. Atlast, In view of the above analysis, this paper puts forward some suggested countermeasuresfor Hubei’s endowment insurance system under the trend of aging population.
