Along with the recovery of the global shipping market and the speed of China toconstructed international shipping center is becoming quicker in recent years, Chineseshipbuilding industry also has welcomed a fast development time. China has became one ofthe top three shipbuilding country around the world, but because of the second financialcrises brought by the European debt crises, the unstable recovery of ship transport marketand the strong competition environment brought by Japanese and Korea shipbuildingcompanies, Chinese shipbuilding industry continuously covered in the haze in2011.Because of the utilization of tray management, the efficiency of outfitting and painting inChinese shipbuilding enterprise has obtained a big promotion, but the steel utilization andmanagement model is still relatively backward compared with foreign countries and hasaffected the overall shipbuilding efficiency.The purpose of this paper is to learning form the model of outfitting tray managementto install hull tray management system in order to enhance hull construction efficiency.This paper first analyzed the modern shipbuilding model and shipbuilding process based onthe model, the relationship between outfitting tray and shipbuilding logistics was exploredalong with the tray and tray management. Then the feasibility and the necessity of hull traymanagement were discussed based on the analysis of the prerequisite of hull traymanagement, and hull tray management was compared with outfitting tray management.Based on deepening the hull production design, the DAP concept was introduced and blockbuilding tree was formed. Location code was introduced to install hull logical tray andphysical tray to solve the flow and missing problem of hull materials. Finally the hulllogistics management problem based on tray was analyzed form three aspects which arepurchase, storage and collection and distribution. The change in purchase management andthe steel purchase service flow based on hull tray management was proposed. Then thestorage management strategy which is purchasing with the steel was coded to improve thein and out efficiency. And it was proposed to build a collection and distribution center andanalyzed the collection and distribution scenario based on hull tray management. At last thesimulation annealing genetic algorithm was used to solve the multi-route selectionproblem.The innovation of this paper manifests in two points. First, based on the outfitting traymanagement experience, tray management is used in hull management with logical andphysical hull tray. Second, logistics management system of hull materials based on tray wasinstalled form purchase management, storage management and collection and distributionscenario. So the research of this paper not only has the theory significance but also has theguidance sense to shipbuilding enterprise to improve block construction efficiency.
