Study On Lean Layout Planning Of Workshop Of Shipbuilding Outfitting Tube

The development of shipbuilding cannot progress without the scientific management, advanced technology and logistics management. The workshop for outfitting tube is the key production part of a shipbuilding factory, which takes a huge proportion of a total ship's building and will have a direct effect on the cost and the progress. For improving the efficiency of outfitting production and reducing its waste, the dissertation focuses on lean logistics management and layout in outfitting workshop of a shipbuilding factory.Based on the results of home and overseas studies, the thesis analyzed the logistics planning of outfitting tube workshop. Based on utilizing the lean production management and its tools while combined with tray management, the lean logistics management strategy and layout planning in shipbuilding outfitting workshop was proposed and fully discussed.First the application of lean production in the shipbuilding industry and current researches on workshop layout planning home and abroad was summarized and current situation of logistics for production and layout planning in outfitting workshop was elaborated. Based on analysis of production process and production characteristics of outfitting tube, present situations of applying tray management to production logistics in this workshop was elaborated while the problems and demands of production logistics in outfitting tube workshop was proposed. The study framework of lean production logistics management and layout planning was proposed, by applying KANBAN and systematic layout planning.Secondly, according to the general framework of logistics planning, lean logistics management and lean logistics for workshop layout planning was studied. Combined with aims of lean logistics and application status and problems of tray management in outfitting tube production while based on the comparative analysis between tray management and KANBAN management, production KANBAN management based on tray management was proposed as the logistics management of outfitting workshop. Meanwhile the types, contents and process of this KANBAN were design.During the researches on lean logistics, systematic layout planning for layout of outfitting workshop was adopted. Combined with characteristics of outfitting workshop, the thesis analyzed the SLP basic elements of shipbuilding outfitting tube workshop and studied contents and steps of layout planning based on SLP method in this workshop, while assessing methods of this plan were proposed.At last, applying these research results above to a shipbuilding factory's logistics management and layout and taking CD shipbuilding corporation outfitting tube workshop as the object, production KANBAN based on tray management and layout based on SLP were applied. The processes of logistics management and logistics facilities layout were optimized. And the plans were assessed by the assessing method studied above. These research results provided support of theory to logistics management of shipbuilding outfitting tube workshop.
