Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China is the most important law inthe field of food safety. But since the law promulgated, the food safety issue hasn’tbeen improved. The main purpose of this paper is to study the regulatory system infood safety field of China.The study of the regulatory system is from three perspectives:structure, operation,and responsibility. Based on the three perspectives, the paper consists of four parts:The first part, the status and characters of the regulatory system. This part is tostudy the status of the regulatory, and induce the characteristics.The second part, is to explore the questions of the system. By studying thestructure, operation and responsibility, I will explore the inadequate of the system.The third part, by studying the regulatory system in foreign countries, I willinduce the successful experiences, in order to improve the regulatory of our country.The forth part, I will put forward some proposals to develop the regulatorysystem. Include: improve the structure and the operation, build some supportingmeasures, and consummate the responsibility system.
