Promotion is the best way to achieve self-worth and career development. Promotionis very good incentives, through Herzberg’s two-factor theory,and which is the best wayto retain talent and effective. However, because our companies are in the transition period,the promotion system is not perfect, promoted not only did not play a proper incentiveeffects, but often resulted in the loss of talent. Members feel that promotion is not fair, insuch an organization, even if they work hard may not be able to receive due promotion.Procedural fairness is an important part of the organizational justice as people areincreasingly concerned about the promotion,the fair promotion procedures are alsogradually coming into view. Equity theory is developed in the context of North Americancultural, and the fair promotion procedures conclusion is also based on such a background,for the domestic promotion of procedural fairness is introduced to explain the foreignliterature-based and local culture under the empirical study.Based on the existing promotion procedures of fair to the study to the influencefactors to build a new model, and use statistical analysis methods, field interviews, andverify the feasibility of the model. Existing fair promotion procedures and the influencingfactors on the basis of the empirical research to complement and add a new factor, theconclusion drawn promotion criteria, employee involvement and control, formulation anddecision-makers the ability of decision-making process and behavior of four factorspromoted the perception of procedural fairness and the fairness of the results through theentire process. This paper aims to research on China’s actual situation, so that the widerange of organizations managers recognize that not only pay attention to promotion results,and more concerned about the affect a fair perception of procedural fairness, theestablishment of a fair atmosphere of the organization, better able to improve performanceand retain qualified personnel. This study has enriched the theory of organizational justice,provide a useful reference theoretical framework for the promotion procedures of fairnessand procedural fairness research also pointed out the direction and path for theorganization’s promotion of fair.
