Study On New Pattern Urbanization In Xinjiang

The urbanization in China, together with the high-tech in the United States, isconsidered as one of the key factors impacting human development in the21st centuryby the Nobel economic prize winner Joseph E.Stiglitz, which will have greatinfluence on the regional development all over the world. The Scientific Outlook onDevelopment the theme of plan as a whole puts new requirements for the urbanizationsince2002, and new pattern urbanization, having many features such as intensivedevelopment, urban-rural comprehensive development, environmental amenity, socialharmony, distinguish trait, ecological sustainability and so on, is paid increasingattention. During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, Xinjiang puts forward to promote itsnew pattern urbanization development, but its urbanization level is low, and regionaldifferences are great. This paper bases on actual situation of Xinjiang，through theanalysis of new pattern urbanization of theory and practice by home and abroadscholars. This paper presents its ideas to the new pattern urbanization development ofXinjiang, wish it can promote the new pattern urbanization level of Xinjiang, furtherrealize leap-mode development, and have certain practical sense and reference value.The paper applies means of combining quantitative analysis with qualitativeanalysis, in order to have a system and comprehensive analysis of Xinjiang recenturbanization situation, predict future urbanization level, and finally puts forward tocountermeasures of promoting its new pattern urbanization development. Textincludes five parts: first part, preface. Explain research background of paper, topicsignificance, train of thought and domestic and foreign research progress ofurbanization; second part, basic theory of new pattern urbanization. Elaborate itsintension, characteristic and theoretical foundation; the third part, PrincipalComponent Analysis. By establishing a set of index system for comprehensivemeasure of the urbanization level, make Principal Component Analysis to theurbanization level of prefectures and cities of Xinjiang, and forecast the level of futureurbanization in Xinjiang on this basis; the fourth part, SWOT analysis. IntroduceSWOT analysis theory in the management, qualitatively analyze the advantage andopportunities, the disadvantages and threats in the process development of the newpattern urbanization in Xinjiang respectively, and draw the conclusion; the fifth part, countermeasures. Combine theory with actual problems on the basis of existinganalysis conclusion to provide countermeasures for promoting new patternurbanization development in Xinjiang.
