With the rapid development of China software Industry in the past10years,Company A is the forerunner, it has successfully reserved a great share of China ERPsoftware market, through its valid product improvement and market development. Asthe growing of business, Company A created a financial target performance reviewsystem.Business growth and External financial report are always the two key points oflisted companies, and profit growth is the final target of these companies.Softwareindustry need to take technology innovation and research as core competitive,operation department is the support department of Company A under B division. Thetarget of operation is the financial as well, so it caused operation tried a lot to capturethe business of sales and deploy department, in order to hit their own ball. Thissituation doesn’t benefit the development of the whole B division. At the meantime,operation is a traditional support department; the main job is to provide professionaltechnical support for the other functions. So taking financial data as the target ofoperation is not reasonable, and against the long-term revision of operation.Using the balanced scorecard Principle, fish bone picture, and base on B divisioninternal process, they can run out performance review system analysis more clearly.Through business strategy, process design, performance review target andperformance review result, they can find the main problem of operation department,and the real reason for the problem.Through their operation department business process and using balancedscorecard method, they can conclude the key performance review target of finance,customer, internal process and Learn and development, so that they can redesign theperformance review system.Extend the performance review target from financial only to four targetsincluding finance, customer, internal profess and learn and development, is the greatbenefit of using balanced scorecard method. The updated performance review systemis more balanced, and it not only focus on the financial target, and also the businessincome, so it is very helpful for the long-term development of operation department.
