With the reform and open of our country going widely, the globalizationinevitably comes. The international trade of our country highly increased after joiningWTO, however, issues on international trade have gradually occurred with the tradehas a steep rise and the levels updated, which also severely constrains the growth anddevelopment of the international trade of our country, therefore for protecting theinterests of international trade of our country, to find a way out of those issues hasbecome an urgent business. In deep analysis of those issues we can easily find out thatthe motive force of international trade is the key. So studying on the motive force ofinternational trade is the precondition which to solve problems.About the motive force of international trade, economists of the west alreadyhave theories. Such as Adam smith, the most famous economist, who has the mostfamous Theory of Absolute Advantage, and David Ricardo, the another greatesteconomist, who has Theory of Comparative Advantage, and some of others likeHeckscher and Ohlin’s factor endowment theory. Karl Marx, who criticized the wrongideas of those formers and inherited those right ones, to illustrated his theory ofinternational trade. This paper logically and deeply analyzed Marx’s theory ofinternational trade in details, furthermore, generalizing the content that the source ofthe motive force which continually pushes international trade forward, it hastheoretical meaning for improvement of Marx’s theory, which also can be used tosolve the problems of international trade of our country, at this level, it also has apractical meaning.At first place, this paper is to talk about Marx’s theory of trade and to discuss thenecessity of trade from the aspects of the macro and micro in motive force. Secondly,with Marx’s theory of international division of labor to point out that internationaldivision of labor is the basis of international trade, and to make it clear that the causeof international division of labor is the cause to push international trade forward, by studying the nature of capital expansion to find out the deep motive force ofinternational trade is that the capitalist class unstoppably chased the extra surplusvalue, and the surplus value maximization, which caused that Capital global expansionand finally formed the structure of international trade. According to that thesis, withthe practice of international trade of our country, from the aspects of macro, middlelevel and micro, to find out the problems of motive force of international force of ourcountry, and to deal with those problems with appropriate policies for protecting theinterests of international trade of our country...
