Research On Simulation Of Land Use Change Of Taibai County Based On Geo-CA

The study on Land Use/Land Cover Change (LUCC) research is currently a hot topic ofglobal change research and cutting-edge issues. The international background of the theory ofcomplex systems, the use of cellular automata (CA) model to simulate complex geographicalspace-time model is the frontier of the land use change. Geo-CA model, the development ofland use change provides a new way of thinking. The process of development of Geo-CA is asimple local behavior to become the global structure of the process.This paper reviews the simulation and prediction methods of the evolution of Taibaicounty from scholars at domestic and abroad. The Taibai County is chosen as a study objectof the dissertation, puts forward the idea of research on models of land use change of TaibaiCounty Based on Geo-CA. According to overlay of land use dynamic change, transition ofland use and land change at the support of GIS software and Geo-CAtheory. This paper takesTaibai County, in the year of2008and2011, as the study area to empirical research the model,and then compares to the real land use spatial structure of Taibai County in2011. Thecomparative study shows that by using simulation of land use change Taibai County based onGeo-CA can predict better, more objective and more precise in the prediction of the numberand spatial distribution of land use classes of Taibai County in2017.The study shows that the train of thoughts of Geo-CA land use to simulate land use andchange is to introduce life character of the land cells, and every kind of land cells have theirinitiating, mature, declining and dying such a life cycle. On the support of GIS software andthe Geo-CA theoretical model, start from two different periods of database, combined withland use changes in the econometric model to analyze the characteristics of land use change.
