China’s Import Trading Technical Structure And The Empirical Analysis Of It’s Promoting Impact On Economic Growth

With the foreign trade and verticality intra-industry trade development, selecting the appropriate analysis method is effective measure of a country or region’s import trade technical structure, and it has a very important role to analysis a country’s economic development. According to the export and import data of world under the classification of SITC REV.2 3, this paper explores the evolving trends of china’s import trade good’s technical level and china’s import trade good’s overall technical level and technical structure from 1985 to 2008 ,and comparing with some major developed ,developing country and economy . By comparing, china’s import trade technical level is rising , slightly higher than the world level and continue to move closer to world levels; Though china’s import trade technical structure altitude is fluctuating ,it is consist with the vary of the world ,totally it has raise from 41.86 in 1985 to 56.38 in 2008 .Besides, china’s import trade technical structure distribution have a huge change. By analyzing ,the major reason that cause china’s import trade Technical Level diversification including: the product technical content changed, the changing in the need of our country economical development, the development of our country’s processing trade and the transformation of our country’s foreign trading policy that have lead to our country’s import trade technical level changed .Besides , putting forward the index of measuring the industry import technology level in China , on the basis of the index of measuring the industry import technology level, analysis the change trend of import constitute and the import technical structure from 1999 to 2008 years in china , and get the result that the import technology level of our country’s manufacturing industry is rising, and its import technology level is higher than our country whole import technology level . On the basis of this industry data, this paper use the Eviews 6.0 analysis the import technical structure of manufacturing industry promoting action on economic growth, and have a result that import technical structure of manufacturing industry did have a anxo-action on economic growth, that it is say the higher a country’s import trading technical structure the more promote impact on the country’s economy growth . In addition, according to the depressive degree of labor -intensive and capital or technology-intensive increasing degree , the manufacture industry can be classified as labor-intensive manufacturing industry and capital-intensive or technology -intensive industries in China. Through empirical analysis , get the results that our capital-intensive or technology -intensive products’technology structure have a great more promote impact on economic growth relative to the labor-intensive products’technology structure’s promote impacts. Finally, how to optimize the import trading technology structure of china, so as to promote our economic growth, and puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.
