Research On Urban-rural Income Disparities And Influence Factors Based On Zhejiang Province

Since the reform and opening, Zhejiang province has become one of the most economically developed provinces and one of the highest provinces in per capital income in China. While we see these encouraging results, also should pay attention to the facts of the urban-rural income gap of Zhejiang is gradually widening, and the urban-rural income gap of southwest of Zhejiang is the most outstanding. In general, an economy in a certain income gap is a normal phenomenon, and also an inevitable phenomenon in its development process, but if the income disparity expends in constantly and long-lasting, it will hinder the further development of economy, destroy the social stability, also not conducive to building a socialist harmonious society.Taking the urban-rural income disparity and influence factors in Zhejiang province as the object for the research and analysis can enrich income gap between the theories at this stage, conducive to the understanding and mitigation of unreasonable conditions rose to the height of the theory of the regional urban-rural income gap between; Do a comprehensive, systematic research on the regional urban-rural income gap can further enrich the theory of income distribution, for the timely control of urban-rural income gap, narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas to provide theoretical support of great theoretical and practical significance. Research on urban-rural income disparity and influence factors based on Zhejiang province can more accurately understand and grasp the overall status and development trends of the urban-rural income gap of Zhejiang province, analysis of urban-rural income gap caused by various factors, has served to define the status and future trends of urban-rural income gap of Zhejiang, help to prevent the income gap appeared big trend, providing policy suggestions of narrowing the urban-rural income gap for the government departments. And also for other provinces and the country’s urban-rural income gap to provide a reference, has great practical significance of increasing farmers’income, as well as to achieve coordinated development of urban and rural economy, as to sustainable economic development. The article consists of5parts:Chapter1is an introduction, by describing the background and significance of the research, the overview of relevant domestic and aboard research literatures, leads to the problems of this article is to explore and solve, point out the thoughts, the methods, the innovations and difficulties, as well as the structural framework of the article; Chapter2analysis the changes in the development process of the urban-rural income gap of Zhejiang province using relevant data from a historical point of view changes, from the geographical point of view of more space, Zhejiang and other provinces as well as the gap between the11cities of Zhejiang province, the income gap between urban and rural, explore the urban-rural income gap in the spatial distribution of the11cities of Zhejiang province. Chapter3is the theoretical basis of the whole research, elaborating the impact mechanism of urban-rural income gap respectively from labor, human capital, industrial agglomeration, qualitative analysis of these elements may exist with the urban-rural income gap relationships. Chapter4is the empirical part of the article, also is the main part. Firstly, according to the two different departments of the production function to derive the original equation, then on this basis pull in the panel data model, establish the panel data regression model of urban-rural income gap. Secondly, expand the urban-rural income gap based on panel data model of multiple regressions analysis, investigate the direction and extent of various factors to the urban-rural income gap. Chapter5is the conclusion, policy suggestions and the prospect of research, mainly combination the empirical result of the influence factor model of Zhejiang rural-urban income gap, and then explore the policy suggestions how to narrow the urban-rural income gap as soon as possible to enter the appropriate state, finally, the prospect of research.The main innovations of this paper are:Firstly, in the variable selection, the factors affecting the income gap between urban and rural area studies are mainly focused on a few aspects or a point at present, and ignore the economic ties between urban and rural areas, lack of complete discussion. In this paper, the introduction of industrial clustering factor to discuss it with urban-rural income gap, research literature in this regard is also unusual in the domestic. This paper attempts to discuss the relationship between the degrees of industrial concentration and Zhejiang urban-rural income gap, enrich the theoretical system of income gap. Secondly, in the analysis methods, this paper begins with the urban-rural dual structure, considered the different production function between urban and rural, and introduced the relationship of the new economic geography industrial concentration and economic growth into the production function of urban sector, on the basis of deriving the urban-rural income gap equation, using a panel data model for empirical analysis, achieve the combination of new economic geography, theoretical economics and applied economics, based on this study help to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas of Zhejiang policy recommendations, provide reference to achieve a harmonious development of Zhejiang, but also for other provinces to achieve the harmonious development of urban and rural areas to provide reference.The main conclusions of the article:Firstly, the income gap between urban and rural areas of Zhejiang province has gone through four stages, and there is a trend to continue to expand, but compared with national average and other parts of the provinces, the level of Zhejiang urban-rural income gap is smaller in the ranks of the country, the urban-rural income gap of the11cities in Zhejiang and the expanding at a rate are significantly different, but also between the two regions there are significant differences, Zhejiang northeast urban-rural income gap and its expanding at a rate less than southwest. Secondly, as the main impact factors of the urban-rural income gap, the selection of four factors in this paper, the most significant is human capital, this shows that human resource has become the first resource of economic development and social progress, by contrast physical capital, labor and other factors on the degree of influence of urban-rural income gap is weakening, degree of industrial concentration as an innovation into the model, the result also show significant. Thirdly, different factor has a different direction on the urban-rural income gap of Zhejiang province, the rate of urban-rural human capital with a positive correlation to the urban-rural income gap, the rate of urban-rural labor with a positive correlation to the urban-rural income gap, the rate of urban-rural material capital investment with a positive correlation to the urban-rural income gap, industrial agglomeration with a negative correlation to the urban-rural income gap.
