Research On Logistics In Dustry Agglomeration Level Measurement And Its Influencing Factors In Liaoning Province

At present, research on industrial agglomeration is mainly concentrated on manufacture. The study of the logistics industry agglomeration is not enough systematic. The development of Logistics in China’s provinces is uneven, so every province should develop logistics industry according to their actual situation. Because of excellent geographical location, Liaoning Province has formed some logistic agglomeration, but there is also a gap compared with the developed coastal provinces. Study on the agglomeration level of the logistics industry and influencing factors of Liaoning Province not only expand the industrial clusters theories, but also is meaningful to developing the logistics industry and planning logistics’park.The main contents of this paper:(1) Logistics industry gathering theory, including related concepts, the theory of industrial agglomeration, the logistics industry agglomeration measurements, the influencing factors of logistics industry agglomeration (2) Analysis the environment for the development of logistics industry in Liaoning Province and the status quo of the logistics industry and the agglomeration level measurement of the logistics industry in Liaoning Province (In view of the shortcomings of logistics industry agglomeration degree in the past, proposed to impiove the area-entropy measure, and construct the agglomeration degree of the measurement index system, multi-dimensional measurement from the overall level of iegional perspective, industry perspective).(3) Based on the analysis of the theoreticalabout the influential factors of logistics industry gathering, select the level of development of the manufacturing industry, the advantage of road, railway advantages, advantages of the port, labor costs, the level of infrastructure investment, the share of wholesale and retail trade and government capacity to intervene as an independent variable, improve the location entropy as the dependent variable, select the Liaoning Province consists of14prefecture-level cities2001-2010variable data, use the Panel Date model to analyze the logistics industry in Liaoning Province to gather influential factors.(4) Propose to promote the gathering response of the logistics industry of Liaoning ProvinceThrough empirical analysis, the main conclusions:(1) Logistics industry gathering of Liaoning Province is in a continuous development and strengthening stage, with a strong competitive edge relative to the province in other industries, but compared to the somewhat less developed coastal provinces.(2) Manufacturing level of development of logistics industry in Liaoning Province to gather the most important factor, should strengthen the joint development of manufacturing and logistics industry; road strengths and advantages of the port greatly promote the development of logistics industry in Liaoning Province, should be the development of intermodal transport, convergence of different modes of transport; Liaoning Province, the overall wage level is relatively low labor costs, the role of the logistics industry gathering in Liaoning Province limited; commerce and trade imbalance in economic development, lagging behind most of the regional development of commerce and trade can’t be a gathering of the logistics industry power, should vigorously develop the development of trade and logistics; Had a positive impact on the logistics industry gathering in Liaoning Province, the government should give full play to the role of government, to promote the logistics industry gathering.
