Some Basic Problems Of Low-carbon Tourism Research

Low carbon tourism is the result of serious global environment problem,low carbon economy and the transformation of the of tourism,it’s so new that there is not so much research on it.Foreign scholars focused on related industry of tourism,such as tourism climate,Green hotel, carbon emission of tour transportation and so on.Domestic scholars focused on qualitative research,such as the intension of tourism,how to reduce carbon emission and so on..All the research result is valuable for the following study of low carbon tourism.This paper has mainly chosen four part to study on,they are:the intension of tourism, subject participation, implementation mechanism and safeguard system.Based on former scholars’research and by logical analysis,the writer obtained the following conclusions:the economic, social and environmental benefits of low carbon tourism only can be gained by multiparty participation in carbon emission reduction work;the achievment of low carbon tourism needs to found the mechanism of motivation, interest balance among the subjects and Forest Park carbon sink market;the key to the development of low carbon tourism is the safeguard system scientific decision, technological innovation, all the people involved, capital investment.Finally this paper pointed out the future research directions and problems of low-carbon tourism.
