Study On Product Scheme Of FT Company’s Bus Type Exchange Project

With the development of science and technology, the domestic bus industry becamemore and more competitive, this brought many new challenges to bus productionenterprise on new product development projects. In order to make the bus productsmore competitive, bus production enterprise still needs to do a lot of work in newproduct development. New product development decision-making directly affects thesurvival and development of enterprises, so it is the key link. According to theenterprise existing resources, bus production enterprises need to find a scientific andeffective method to determine which plan is more appropriate in many of thealternative plans to ensure the new product development project is of high value.At present there are many methods and models about the project selection evaluationdecision at home and abroad, and some of these methods were mature. But research inenterprise new product development project selection are not so much, there is nosystem and effective project selection evaluation system and method so far. Especiallyfor a concrete enterprise, how to research new product development project selectionin depth combine the current market environment and business operations is still notcommon. Thus, this paper research on a concrete enterprise, eventually got relatedconclusions.As a famous bus production enterprise in domestic market, FT developed rapidly inrecent years. But under the pressure of market competition, FT decided to conducttype exchange project to improve product competitiveness, the first thing to do is tochoose product scheme for development projects. Due to factors that influence newproduct development project’s alternatives selection are so many, it bring somedifficulty. In this paper, first do system analysis on main factors that influencealternatives selection, and construct evaluation index system for selection; Second,according to FT’s development strategy, determine seven optional products and itsmain features for FT’s new product development project; Again, determine the newproduct development alternatives’ priority using multiple attribute decision makingmethod based on theory of capacity and Choquet integral, and do reliability analysisof conclusion using an instance; Finally, this paper proposed corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on some of the important link in optimal productscheme implementation in order to ensure the project smoothly.In a word, the selection of product scheme is a complex decision problem involvingmany factors. Though the study of this paper can not only determine scientific andreasonable development program for FT’s type exchange project, but also providebeneficial reference for further scheme selection of new product development project.At the same time, decision-making method used in this paper can provide a thought tosome similar enterprises in their scheme selection. But, it needs market segmentationand capacity estimate according to local market environment and the actual situationof the enterprise to make correct and effective evaluation.
