Research On Trade Deficit Problem Of Some Provinces Under The Background Of Trade Surplus In China

After entering the21st century, along with the deepening of theprocess of economic globalization, international trade has been animportant part of the economic activity and known as the "troika" withinvestment and consumption to promote economic growth, internationaltrade theory has been even more completed and comprehensive than before.Throughout the existing research on international trade issues, most ofall is used to explore the cause and the trade surplus from the nationalperspective except for study the trade deficit and especially not tomention trade deficit of the Provincial economy. Since the reform andopening up, especially entering the21st century named for rapid increaseof the degree of economic integration, on the contrary with much tradesurplus along with high speed for country, some of province have been facedwith trade deficit showing the feature with a long duration, the totalgrew faster and type of economic structure determined such as Jilinprovince, Beijing, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Gansu province andHainan province. it is not quite correct that the research oninternational trade is mostly based on a national perspective instead ofthe gap between province in the region’s economic development. Thisarticle is based on the background of trade surplus in China, someprovinces also faced with the economic realities called a trade deficitand has a strong theoretical and practical significance in the basis ofthe careful study of the provinces.In short this article is based in the research perspective of theprovinces not national perspective and aims to see provincial economy asa research project by the use of qualitative and quantitative researchmethods from the states quo、because、economical evaluation and suggestionfour aspects to explore the trade deficit in the provinces. In detail To explore the subject for trade deficit in some provinces in the backgroundof trade surplus in China, the first step is to analyze and summarize thecurrent related research focus and theoretical frontiers, the second stepis to look for the causes for trade deficit in province based on relatedstatus quo, then using two models of the Granger test and cointegrationresearch test based on Eviews software and entering the data ofinternational trade and economic development between1995and2009of thefour provinces of Jilin Province, Hainan Beijing and Inner MongoliaAutonomous Region, Thirdly we aim to give a systematic economic evaluationfor the relation trade deficit and economic development in some provincesuch as Jilin province and so on. Finally for the previous conclusionsof the study put forward countermeasures and suggestions.
