Research On The Regional Cooperation Between Russian Federation And People’s Republic Of China

The thesis is entitled "Research on the regional cooperation betweenRussian Federation and People’s Republic of China”. It shows the author’spoint of view on the situation of political and economic cooperation in theboarding area between Russia and China, the basis for cooperation anddevelopment of major projects, how to further promote cooperation and findthe solutions for existing problems.The relationship between Russia and China experienced decades ofsteady development. Tight cooperation between two countries in political,economic and security fields had produced positive for both countries results.We are sure, that in the situation of International tendencies like economicglobalization and inter-regional cooperation in the world, good relations andpermanent friendship of Russia and China will not change much.Nowadays Russia and China actively develop their border regions. Theseareas of cooperation between the two countries have common goals anddemands. Therefore inter-regional cooperation is the best solution for twocountries to reach the goal of exploring boarding regions’ potential. Russia andChina’s regional cooperation can help both countries jointly push forward thebilateral political and economic relations, as well as the state of prosperity inthe border areas.However, it should be mentioned, that the comprehensive cooperation isfacing many problems, such as: China ’s foreign investment issues, the lag ofthe Northeast region ’s economic development, the fact that the majoritycooperation projects are still stuck in traditional spheres; not very stableeconomic situation in Russia, that grows from changes in political system, themarket economical system and so on. The barriers that appears from the factthat two countries’ people do not understand each other are still very strong.These are the issues that two countries in the next few years should payattention and find the solutions to.The thesis also raises the issues of the prospects of Russia and China’s cooperation and development in the boarding areas, in-depth expansion of thiscooperation with the goals of bringing mutual advantages to the respectivecountries.The author’s major “International politics” influenced the focus of theresearch. The paper attempts to study the value of the Russian-Chineseborder regional cooperation in political, economic and cultural spheres fromthe main international political point of view.
