With the rapid development of China’s economy, advanced management concepts and ideas areintroduced to the actual work. The concept of leadership has also been widely used, it mainly concentratesin the government entities, enterprises, etc. The leadership skill is not popular in hotel industry in Chinatoday. The service quality varied in different hotels, the situation needs us to introduce modern hotelmanagement practice to upgrade hotel service. The leadership management directly reflects the level of thehotel management, the potential ability to improve the management structure. As part of the modernmanagement theories, leadership skills worthy of exploring and study in hotel management practice. Theproblem of China’s research of leadership skills mainly focused on the evaluation model of the key factors.The factors of the management leadership characteristics include: personality, emotional appeal, maturity,style of doing things, and sensible style, self-discipline. We also should take care of the work performance,leadership style and behavior. A hotel’s management should cover adventure, innovation, communicationand coordination, vision, benevolent care, operational monitoring and authoritarian-oriented, specificanalysis of the effectiveness of these types of styles in different industries and governance structure.The study of the leadership of the domestic hotel industry mainly focuses on two aspects: One ispersonal qualities and performance evaluation, the other is different methods of management assessment. Inaddition, the evaluation method is also hot areas of the recent leadership assessment study, and the focus isincreasingly focused on the reliability and validity of the different evaluation methods on the differentevaluation scenarios and evaluation dimension. But also to fully exploit the treasure trove of leadership andmanagement thought of ancient China, Qin philosophers leadership functions, the leading influence thecomposition and psychological mechanisms, and the idea of The three aspects of the art of leadership, andfrom the knowledge structure of the leader, moral quality, language ability, work attitude, life style andhuman principles, five were summarized and elaborated, forming a unique leadership model with Chinesecultural characteristics, and to adapt to the style of the industry.
