| Through the investigation and analysis on culture tourism resources which in Hubei Province Wuling mountainous area, the thesis analysis the situation of this area’s cultural tourism resources by its type, abundance and distribution; In light of current development status, put forward to the development conception from development goals, development mode, products’development and design, and marketing; Guided by the concept of sustainable development, put forward to the resources development countermeasures.The thesis has got several conclusions:Hubei Province Wuling mountainous area have various types of culture tourism resources, especially non-material cultural heritage, history culture and red culture; Types of cultural tourism resources in Enshi, Lichuan, Hefeng, Changyang is richer than other regions, the combination status of culture tourism resources in Enshi,Xianfeng is better; Although made some achievements in current development of cultural tourism resources, problems still exist:the lack of overall planning and cultural tourism brand, serious homogenization phenomenon, low level of development, management and utilization, unbalanced development among regions, single development mode, poor quality of tourism and other issues.Therefore, this thesis proposes development conceptions as follows:according to resource types, respectively take development mode like residential natural village, museum, heritage park, red and green, red and history, red performance, combine with ecology, experience participatory and so on. Product development and design, should be combined with resource advantage and the situation of surrounding area, give full consideration to market demands, form joint strength to develop.
