Land-use Change And Driving Forces Analysis Of Erhai Lake Basin

With China’s economic is developing and the process of urbanization is accelerating, the number of land use, structures have undergone great changes.There are many experts from many countries have studied and analyzed this issue in different degrees and angles. The drive mechanism of the system is more mature; to study this problem can give qualitative or quantitative interpretation of land use change. After collected basis data from1999-2010in the Erhai Lake, it analyses and discusses this area’s land use changes in dynamic analyses and its driving effect influence, aim to find the intrinsicdriving factors of the land use change in Erhai lake basin,and then give recommendations and countermeasures for local socio-economic and sustainable land use common harmonious development。The main research results are:First, the Erhai Lake in Dali city and Eryuan county in terms of land use structure have been changed from the years1999-2010. Woodland area proportion is the largest in both Dali and Eryuan, they are more than half of the total land area; The area of all kinds water is large too. unused land area account for a large proportion. It shows Erhai basin have great potential for the development of reclamation in the future land use.Second, according to a regional breakdown on the Erhai Lake, study the dynamic analysis in both Dali city and Eryuan county land use structure change respectively,and it can get different results from timing and extent analysis. Among them, woodland and unused land play a dominant role in Dali city land use structure change; the analysis’s results of Eryuan County show that the cultivated land and unused land are playing a leading role in the local land use structure changes. The degree of land use change analysis shows that Dali city and Eryuan county are both in the adjustment period during the12years.Third, from the perspective of qualitative and quantitative combined analysis, the natural factors and socio-economic factors are the two major aspects in the Erhai lake basin’s land use change. Among them, the GDP, the total population, food production, financial income can be important driving force factors in the land use change, and in all these driving factors, a larger sensitivity type of land is cultivated land, woodland, grassland, settlements and industrial land and water land.Fourth, the sustainable use of land need the local government and the people who live in Dali city and Eryuan country to implement from the ideological advocacy to the practical action, and, do let the principles and policies of sustainable land use put into effect.
