Research Based On Factors Analysis Of The Service Outsourcing Industry Competitiveness Evaluation

In recent years, the deepening of economic globalization and international adjustmentof industrial structure has promoted the flourish of trade in services, especially of theservices outsourcing industry. Some developing countries undertaking service outsourcingbusiness are achieving the rapid economic growth and the upgrading of industrial structureoptimization. Conforming to this trend, China pays more attention to grasping this majorstrategic opportunity to undertake service outsourcing businesses, using the advantages ofthe environment and the resources to promote the growth of service outsourcing industry,and becomes the important outsourcing country in Asia.Firstly, starting from the perspective of supply and demand theory and basing on thevalue chain theory, the transaction cost theory and the resource theory, the article combinewith the characteristics of the development of the service outsourcing industry, screen out17indicators as the service outsourcing industry competitiveness evaluation system; then,with the factor analysis models, select17of the20indicators summarized as four commonfactors which are the “development strength factor”, the “policy-supported factor”, the“investment-oriented factor”, and the “industry-supported factor”. Besides, by calculatingthe the city’s common factors’ scores and total scores to rank the competitive conditions oftheir service outsourcing industries; and to summaries the20service outsourcingdemonstration cities as the “development strength type” cities (including the Shanghai city,Suzhou city, Beijing city, Tianjin city and the Chongqing city), the “policy-supportedtype”(including Guangzhou, Wuxi, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Xi’an),the “investment-orientedtype”(including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan and Chengdu), the“industry-supported type”(including Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Dalian, Beijing andJinan) and the “development potential type”(including Changsha, Harbin, Hefei, Nanchang and Daqing) five categories of service outsourcing cities. At last, according to the differenttypes of services outsourcing cities, the article put forward the specific policy for thedevelopment of the service outsourcing cities, and help to make decisions.Hoping Chinawill seize the strategic opportunities to promote industrial progress and urban development,to overall revitalize the service outsourcing industry, to promote the economic growth, andto optimize the industrial structures, achieving from the "Made in China" shifting towardsthe "Chinese service".
