Study On The Competitiveness Of Chengdu Service Outsourcing Industry

In recent years, the trend of economic globalization and information technology accelerate the merging of national and regional economies, the rapid development of international offshore outsourcing provides an excellent opportunity to China which in the restructuring and upgrading for development and transformation, the development of service outsourcing industry has also been highly valued by the region. As the economic and financial center in southwest China, Chengdu service outsourcing industry has also gained rapid development.This paper introduces the background and significance of the service outsourcing industry, and summarizes the theory and literature. Then analyzes the development status of Chengdu service outsourcing industry, and borrows evaluation of trade in services to evaluate the competitiveness of Chengdu outsourcing industry briefly. Then, by improving diamond model forms evaluation model of the competitiveness of service outsourcing industry, selects17indicators from21service outsourcing demonstration cities, uses the factor analysis for empirical test, and draw the relevant conclusions. Overall, the development conditions of Chengdu service outsourcing industry are great, industrial structure and layout are rational, the advantages of key industries are highlighted, the strategic positioning and target planning is clear. From the index analysis, both the contract amount and the amount of its execution, or other indicators, Chengdu service outsourcing industry is located in the middle the domestic demonstration cities, there is further room for improvement. From the empirical analysis, Chengdu ranked No.7in demonstration cities, in a leading position in the Midwest, with a strong competitive edge. Empirical studies show that infrastructure, the level of regional economic development facility has a greater impact on the competitiveness of the service outsourcing industry in Chengdu. The level of development of the outsourcing industry and related industries in Chengdu overall have negative impact on the competitiveness. Combining these conclusions, the paper concludes with recommendations.
