Tthe Application Of Total Quality Management In "Longxue"Ship-building Base Construction Project

Quality management is one of the key contents in construction project management process. Then, mostly, construction project quality management depends on the construction stage."Longxue" Ship-building Base construction project is complicated system engineering, as a huge construction project, how to manage the project quality, achieve the quality standards on condition of reasonable Cost and schedule that will be an important matter as well as a difficult problem.Firstly, this paper addresses Total Quality Management theory, analyses present situation of "Longxue" Ship-building Base construction project quality management and discusses the problem about implementation of quality target management process. Secondly, in order to solve the problems appeared in the process of quality and ensure the quality of projects, this paper addresses Total Quality Management theory applied to quality management in "Longxue" Ship-building Base construction project, included, for instance, established a construction management plan system, paid attention to the implementation stage of the process control, perfected quality guarantee system, managed construction "Five elements", and carried out PDCA circle (plan-do-check-action) for "Longxue" Ship-building Base construction project quality management control:Analyzed the reasons for lower compression strength of shot concrete in Painting Shop project, and the prominent issue of quality and safety management in the process of the construction, which had a strong impact on the quality. This paper resolved the above problems perfectly. Finally, the general comments of safety management increased by25%, some construction tenders reached95points, those offered a solid foundation for the quality objectives. Finally, the author makes some consideration for promoting total quality management of "Longxue" Ship-building Base construction project, a set of total quality management experience have been summarized, and introduces the developing trend of total quality management for construction projects in the future. The research shows that the application of Total Quality Management will improve the quality management efficiency; still, even though improve the overall quality of the project.
