With the development of the foreign trade in China, especially after the year 2001 when China entered the World Trade Organization, the Chinese Import & Export amounts have increased greatly. As per the statistics from the Ministry of Commerce of China, the total import & export amount in 2010 has reached 2,972.76 billion US dollars, which is the second largest im & export country in the world, only inferior to the USA. In this case, foreign trade industry becomes one of the most important backbones for Chinese economy.Meanwhile, the cargoes, technique’s export and engineering contracting to Southeast Asia area is increasing rapidly. However, the Chinese foreign trade companies do not pay much attention on risk management because of the limited resources, thus the current situation of defective mechanism for exportation still remains. Because of the Financial Crisis of Southeast Asia in 1997 and Vietnam Financial Crisis in 2008, the foreign trade of China to the regions above has suffered great loss, as well as the overseas engineering are influenced much. Since the Chinese foreign trade enterprises has finished the stage of capital accumulation, they are more interested in Foreign direct investment and overseas engineering contracting. How to identify and manage the risks to protect the enterprises and ensure the investment interest is the vital problem ahead of us.This paper has chosen our neighbour countries:Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar as samples for risk-study. On the basis of risk management theory, it has quoted the theory of "Country Risk", supplementing with personal experiences and case analysis, which may help much for Yunnan or even Chinese enterprises to deal with Southeast Asia and global marketing risks.
